Narrated from Hadrat Mutarrif ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah have mercy upon him), he said: Reports from Hadrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be well pleased with him) used to reach me, and I desired to meet him. When I met him, I said: 'O Abu Dharr, reports from you used to reach me and I desired to meet you.' He said: 'May Allah bless your father, you have met me now.' I said: 'Tell me. It has reached me that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told you: "Indeed, Allah loves three and detests three."' He said: 'I do not think I would lie about my beloved friend [the Prophet].' I asked: 'Who are the three whom Allah loves?' He said: 'A man who fights in the cause of Allah with patience, seeking reward, striving until he is killed — and you find it in the revealed Book of Allah: "Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a structure joined firmly" [al-Saff 61:4].' I asked: 'And who?' He said: 'A man who has a bad neighbor who harms him, and he bears the harm with patience until Allah suffices him against it, either through life or death.' I asked: 'And who?' He said: 'A man who travels with a group and they march through the night until, when they are at the end of the night, drowsiness and sleep overcome them, and they lower their heads [in sleep]. Then he stands up and purifies himself out of awe for Allah and longing for what is with Him.' I asked: 'And who are the three whom Allah detests?' He said: 'The arrogant boaster — and you find it in the revealed Book of Allah: "Indeed, Allah does not love every self-deluded boaster" [Luqman 31:18].' I asked: 'And who?' He said: 'The miserly one who reminds others of his favors.' I asked: 'And who?' He said: 'The merchant who swears excessively, or the seller who swears excessively.' This hadith is sound, meeting the criteria of Muslim, and they did not record it.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت مطرف بن عبداللہ سے مروی ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے بارے میں مجھے خبریں پہنچتی تھیں اور میں ان سے ملنا چاہتا تھا۔ جب میں ان سے ملا تو میں نے کہا: اے ابوذر! آپ کے بارے میں مجھے خبریں پہنچتی تھیں اور میں آپ سے ملنے کا مشتاق تھا۔ فرمایا: اللہ تمہارے باپ کو جزا دے، تم مل تو لیے۔ میں نے کہا: مجھے سنائیے، مجھے یہ پہنچا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے آپ سے فرمایا: 'بے شک اللہ تین سے محبت کرتا ہے اور تین سے نفرت کرتا ہے۔' فرمایا: مجھے نہیں لگتا کہ میں اپنے خلیل (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر جھوٹ بولوں گا۔ میں نے پوچھا: وہ تین کون ہیں جن سے اللہ محبت کرتا ہے؟ فرمایا: وہ شخص جو اللہ کی راہ میں صبر اور ثواب کی نیت سے لڑتا رہے یہاں تک کہ شہید ہو جائے — اور تم اسے اللہ کی نازل کردہ کتاب میں پاؤ گے: "بے شک اللہ ان سے محبت کرتا ہے جو اس کی راہ میں صف باندھ کر لڑتے ہیں گویا وہ سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار ہیں" [الصف: 4]۔ میں نے پوچھا: اور کون؟ فرمایا: وہ شخص جس کا برا پڑوسی ہو جو اسے تکلیف دے اور وہ صبر کرے یہاں تک کہ اللہ اسے کافی ہو جائے، خواہ زندگی سے یا موت سے۔ میں نے پوچھا: اور کون؟ فرمایا: وہ شخص جو لوگوں کے ساتھ سفر کرے، وہ رات بھر چلیں یہاں تک کہ رات کے آخری حصے میں نیند اور اونگھ ان پر غالب آ جائے اور وہ سر جھکا لیں، پھر وہ اٹھے اور اللہ کے خوف اور اس کے پاس جو ہے اس کی رغبت سے وضو کرے۔ میں نے پوچھا: وہ تین کون ہیں جن سے اللہ نفرت کرتا ہے؟ فرمایا: متکبر فخر کرنے والا — اور تم اسے اللہ کی کتاب میں پاؤ گے: "بے شک اللہ کسی بھی متکبر فخر کرنے والے سے محبت نہیں کرتا" [لقمان: 18]۔ میں نے پوچھا: اور کون؟ فرمایا: بخیل احسان جتانے والا۔ فرمایا: اور کون؟ فرمایا: بہت زیادہ قسمیں کھانے والا تاجر یا بہت زیادہ قسمیں کھانے والا بیچنے والا۔ یہ حدیث مسلم کی شرط پر صحیح ہے اور انہوں نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔
