Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) returned from the Battle of al-Ahzab, he told us: "Let no one pray Asr except at Banu Qurayzah." Some were caught by the time for Asr on the way, so some said: "Let us pray, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not intend for us to miss the prayer time." So they prayed. Others said: "We will not pray until we reach Banu Qurayzah." When this was mentioned to the Prophet (peace be upon him), he did not reproach any of them.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب غزوہ احزاب سے واپس ہوئے تو ہم سے فرمایا:”کوئی شخص عصر کی نماز نہ پڑھے مگر بنی قریظہ میں پہنچ کر۔“تو بعض لوگوں کو عصر کا وقت راستہ ہی میں ہو گیا اس لیے بعض لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہم تو نماز پڑھ لیتے ہیں کیونکہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے منع کرنے کا یہ مطلب نہ تھا کہ نماز عصر کا وقت نکل جائے چنانچہ انھوں نے نماز پڑھ لی۔ پھر یہ بات نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے بیان کی گئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کسی پر خفگی نہیں فرمائی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 526]
