'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Hadrat 'Abdullah narrated to me, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, Abu Salamah ibn Hadrat 'Abd al-Rahman and al-A'raj narrated to him that Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: Two men abused each other — one was a Muslim and the other a Jew. The Muslim said: By the One Who chose Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) over all the worlds. The Jew said: By the One Who chose Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) over all the worlds. The Muslim became angry and slapped the Jew's face. The Jew went to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and informed him of what happened between him and the Muslim. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Do not give me superiority over Musa, for on the Day of Resurrection people will fall unconscious, and I will be among the first to regain consciousness. Then I will find Musa holding on to the side of the Throne. I do not know whether Musa was among those who fell unconscious and recovered before me, or whether he was among those whom Allah exempted."
الترجمة الأردية
مجھ سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ابن شہاب سے، ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن اور اعرج نے بیان کیا کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: دو آدمیوں نے ایک دوسرے کو گالیاں دیں، ایک مسلمان تھا اور ایک یہودی۔ مسلمان نے کہا: اس ذات کی قسم جس نے محمد (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تمام جہانوں پر چن لیا۔ یہودی نے کہا: اس ذات کی قسم جس نے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کو تمام جہانوں پر چن لیا۔ اس پر مسلمان کو غصہ آیا اور اس نے یہودی کے منہ پر تھپڑ مار دیا۔ یہودی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں گیا اور اپنا اور مسلمان کا معاملہ بتایا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "مجھے موسیٰ پر فضیلت مت دو کیونکہ قیامت کے دن لوگ بے ہوش ہو جائیں گے اور میں سب سے پہلے ہوش میں آنے والوں میں سے ہوں گا۔ پھر میں دیکھوں گا کہ موسیٰ عرش کا کنارہ پکڑے ہوئے ہیں، تو مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ موسیٰ بھی بے ہوش ہونے والوں میں تھے اور مجھ سے پہلے ہوش میں آ گئے یا وہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جنہیں اللہ نے مستثنیٰ فرمایا۔"
