حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ بَيْنَا الْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِحِرَابِهِمْ دَخَلَ عُمَرُ، فَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْحَصَى فَحَصَبَهُمْ بِهَا. فَقَالَ " دَعْهُمْ يَا عُمَرُ ". وَزَادَ عَلِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) who states: The Abyssinians were playing with their spears before the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when Hadrat Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) entered, picked up pebbles, and threw them at the players. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "Leave them alone, O Umar." (In another narration it is added that this was) in the Mosque.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: حبشی لوگ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے سامنے اپنے نیزوں سے کھیل رہے تھے کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ آئے اور کنکریاں اٹھا کر انہیں ماریں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اے عمر! انہیں چھوڑ دو۔" (ایک روایت میں اضافہ ہے کہ یہ) مسجد میں (ہو رہا تھا)۔
