حَدَّثَنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّد قالا حَدَّثَنا عبد الرزاق أَخْبَرنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمْ يحنثوهذا الحديثُ أحسب أن معمرا أختصره من حديث سليمان بن داود قال لأطوفن الليلة على مئة امراة تلد كل امرأة منهن غلاما يقاتل في سبيل اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لو قال إن شاء الله ولم يكن ثم حلففأظن شبه على معمر إذا اختصره والله أعلم وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمْ يحنثوهذا الحديثُ أحسب أن معمرا أختصره من حديث سليمان بن داود قال لأطوفن الليلة على مئة امراة تلد كل امرأة منهن غلاما يقاتل في سبيل اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لو قال إن شاء الله ولم يكن ثم حلففأظن شبه على معمر إذا اختصره والله أعلم
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Salamah ibn Shabib and Zuhair ibn Muhammad narrated to us, they said: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Whoever swears an oath and says 'In sha Allah' (If Allah wills), he will not break his oath.» This hadith — I believe Ma'mar abbreviated it from the hadith of Sulaiman ibn Dawud who stated: I will surely visit one hundred women tonight, and each of them will bear a boy who will fight in the cause of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Had he said In sha Allah...» — and there was no oath involved. So I think Ma'mar was confused when he abbreviated it, and Allah knows best.
