وَحَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن عبد الملك فيما أعلم قال حدثنا عمارة بن زاذان عن علي بن الحكم عن عَطَاء عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ سئل عن علم فكتمه ألجم بلجام من ناروحديث قتادة عن عَطَاء لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ إِلا الْحَكَمُ بن عبد الملك وحديث مالك بن دينار لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن مالك إلا صدقة بن موسى وهو رجل بصري ليس به بأس
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us — as I recall — he stated: Umarah ibn Zadhan narrated to us, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Ata', from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it, he will be bridled with a bridle of fire.» The hadith of Qatadah from Ata' — we do not know that anyone narrated it from Qatadah except al-Hakam ibn Abd al-Malik. The hadith of Malik ibn Dinar — we do not know that anyone narrated it from Malik except Sadaqah ibn Musa, and he is a Basran man about whom there is no objection.
