حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن يزيد قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الله بن إدريس قَال حَدَّثنا ربيعة بن عُثمان عَن مُحَمَّد بن يَحْيَى بن حَبَّان عن عَبد الرحمن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم المؤمن القوي أحب إلى الله من المؤمن الضعيف وكل في خير احرص على ما ينفعك واستعن بالله ولاَ تعجزن وَإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو كان كذا وكذا وقل قدر الله وما شاء صنعوهذا الكلام قد رواه ابن عَجْلان عن ربيعة ورواه ابن إدريس عن ربيعة ولاَ نعلمه يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ بهذا الإسناد وربيعة مدني لا بأس به اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم المؤمن القوي أحب إلى الله من المؤمن الضعيف وكل في خير احرص على ما ينفعك واستعن بالله ولاَ تعجزن وَإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو كان كذا وكذا وقل قدر الله وما شاء صنعوهذا الكلام قد رواه ابن عَجْلان عن ربيعة ورواه ابن إدريس عن ربيعة ولاَ نعلمه يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ بهذا الإسناد وربيعة مدني لا بأس به
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, he said: Rabi'ah ibn Uthman narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though there is good in each. Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be helpless. If something befalls you, do not say 'if only such-and-such had happened,' but say 'Allah decreed and what He willed, He did.'» This statement has been narrated by Ibn Ajlan from Rabi'ah, and Ibn Idris narrated it from Rabi'ah. We do not know it to be narrated from Abu Hurairah except through this chain. Rabi'ah is a Madinan narrator; there is no harm in him.
