حَدَّثنا الحسين بن مهدي قال أَخْبَرنا عَبد الرزاق قال أَخْبَرنا مَعْمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الفخر والخيلاء في الفدادين من أهل الوبر والسكينة في أهل الغنم والإيمان يمان والحكمة يمانية اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الفخر والخيلاء في الفدادين من أهل الوبر والسكينة في أهل الغنم والإيمان يمان والحكمة يمانية

Al-Husayn ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Razzaq informed us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Pride and arrogance are found among the loud-voiced herders of camels, and tranquility is found among the shepherds. Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni.»
