الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Wasil al-Ahdab, from al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd, who said: I saw Abu Dharr wearing a fine garment and his slave was wearing one like it. I asked him about that, and he mentioned that he had insulted a man during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and taunted him about his mother. The man went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned that to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are a man who still has [traits of] jahiliyyah. They are your brothers and your servants whom Allah has placed under your authority. Whoever has his brother under his authority, let him feed him from what he eats, clothe him from what he wears, and do not burden them with what overwhelms them. If you do burden them, then help them with it.
