حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ شُيَيْمِ بْنِ بَيْتَانَ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ فَقَالَ لَا أُخْبَرَنَّ أَنَّ أَحَدًا عَقَدَ وَتْرًا أَوِ اسْتَنْجَى بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ رَجِيعٍ فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ بَرِئَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ مِمَّا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَى نَحْوَ كَلَامِهِ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ وَأَمَّا هَذَا اللَّفْظُ فَلَا يُحْفَظُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا عَنْ أَحَدٍ غَيْرِ رُوَيْفِعٍ وَقَدْ أُدْخِلَ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِمَّا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ غَيْرَ شَيْبَانَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى عَنْهُ غَيْرُ شُيَيْمِ بْنِ بَيْتَانَ وَعَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَشْهُورٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad narrated to us, he said: al-Mufaddal ibn Fadalah informed us, he said: 'Ayyash ibn 'Abbas informed us, from Shuyaym ibn Baytan, from Shayban, who said: We were with Ruwayfi' ibn Thabit, and he said: 'Let me not be informed that anyone has tied a bowstring knot (as an amulet), or used a bone or dung for cleaning after relieving himself. Whoever does that has disassociated himself from Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), or from what was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).' This hadith has been narrated with similar wording by more than one person, but this particular wording is not preserved from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) nor from anyone other than Ruwayfi'. It has been included in the Musnad because he said 'he has disassociated from what was revealed to Muhammad.' Its chain is good except for Shayban, for we do not know of anyone who narrated from him other than Shuyaym ibn Baytan, while 'Ayyash ibn 'Abbas is well-known.
