حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ نا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْأَعْمَشَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمَ الْمَحْفُوظُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ أَقْرَبُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَسِيلَةً أَنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ أَقْرَبُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَسِيلَةً
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Sulayman — meaning al-A'mash — from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhayfah, who said: Indeed, the well-preserved ones among the companions of Muhammad know that Ibn Umm Abd is the nearest of them to Allah in closeness.
