أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَخَتَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِي يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى خِنْصَرِهِ حَتَّى رَجَعَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فَرَمَاهُ فَمَا لَبِسَهُ ثُمَّ تَخَتَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَجَعَلَهُ فِي يَسَارِهِ وَأَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ وَعُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَحَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا ؓ كَانُوا يَتَخَتَّمُونَ فِي يَسَارِهِمْ قَالَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ كَانَ فِي خَاتَمِ حَسَنٍ وَحُسَيْنٍ ذِكْرُ اللهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ فِي خَاتَمِ أَبِي الْعِزَّةُ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr narrated to us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: al-Rabi' ibn Sulayman narrated to us: Ibn Wahb narrated to us: Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated from Ja'far ibn Muhammad, from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wore a gold ring on his right hand on his little finger until he returned home and threw it away and never wore it again. Then he wore a silver ring and placed it on his left hand. Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Umar ibn al-Khattab, Ali ibn Abi Talib, Hasan, and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) all wore their rings on their left hands. Ja'far ibn Muhammad said: The ring of Hasan and Husayn had the mention of Allah on it. He said: My father's ring had the inscription: 'All might belongs to Allah.'
