And Abu al-Hasan ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Abdullah Abu Muslim narrated to us, Ma'qil ibn Malik narrated to us, al-Nadr ibn Isma'il narrated to us from Abu Hamzah al-Thumali from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Fatimah, stand and witness your sacrifice, for indeed you will be forgiven with the first drop of blood that falls from it for every sin you have committed. And say: 'Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And with that I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims' [6:162-163]." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, is this for you and your household exclusively - and you are deserving of that - or for the Muslims in general?" He said: "Rather, it is for the Muslims in general." Amr ibn Qays al-Mula'i also narrated it from Atiyyah from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Fatimah, and he mentioned its meaning. And it is mentioned from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he ordered his daughters to sacrifice with their own hands.
