الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu al-Abbas al-Sayyari, from Ibrahim ibn Hilal, from Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqiq, from Abdullah, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ka'b ibn Malik who said: I heard Ka'b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Prophet (peace be upon him) rarely intended an expedition without concealing it by hinting at a different destination, until the expedition of Tabuk. He marched to Tabuk in intense heat, facing a long journey, a vast desert, and a numerous enemy. So he made his plan clear to the Muslims so they could prepare their provisions against the enemy, and he informed them of the destination he intended.
