أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ أنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ نا مُسَدَّدٌ نا بِشْرُ بْنُ المُفَضَّلِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ قَالَتْ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ صَبِيحَةَ بُنِيَ بِي فَجَلَسَ عَلَى فِرَاشِي كَمَجْلِسِكَ مِنِّي فَجَعَلَتْ جُوَيْرِيَاتٌ يَضْرِبْنَ الدُّفَّ لَهُنَّ وَيَنْدُبْنَ مَنْ قُتِلَ مِنْ آبَائِي يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ وَفِينَا نَبِيٌّ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدٍ فَقَالَ دَعِي هَذَا وَقُولِي الَّذِي كُنْتِ تَقُولِينَ

Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us... from al-Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidh ibn Afra', who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came and entered upon me on the morning after my wedding night and sat on my bed as you are sitting with me now. Young girls began beating the tambourine and eulogizing those of my forefathers who were killed at the Battle of Badr, until one of them said: And among us is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow. He said: Stop this and say what you were saying before.
