أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ قَالَا ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ آخِرَ النَّاسِ عَهْدًا بِعُمَرَ ؓ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْقَوْلُ مَا قُلْتُ قُلْتُ مَا قُلْتَ؟ قَالَ الْكَلَالَةُ مَنْ لَا وَلَدَ لَهُ كَذَا فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ وَالَّذِي رُوِّينَا عَنْ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي تَفْسِيرِ الْكَلَالَةِ أَشْبَهُ بِدَلَائِلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ وَأَوْلَى أَنْ يَكُونَ صَحِيحًا؛ لِانْفِرَادِ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ وَتَظَاهُرِ الرِّوَايَاتِ عَنْهُمَا بِخِلَافِهَا وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yusuf al-Asbahani informed us: Abu Sa'id ibn al-A'rabi informed me. And Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us: Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar narrated to us. Both narrated from Sa'dan ibn Nasr: Sufyan narrated to us: Sulayman al-Ahwal narrated from Tawus who said: I heard Ibn Abbas saying: I was the last of the people to have a conversation with Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and I heard him saying: The correct view is what I said. I asked: What did you say? He said: The kalalah is one who has no child. This is in this narration, but what we narrated from Umar and Ibn Abbas in the interpretation of kalalah is more consistent with the evidence from the Book and the Sunnah than this narration, and more likely to be authentic, because this narration stands alone while the other narrations from them are mutually corroborating.
