Yahya narrated to us, from Hisham, who said: Yahya narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven; and whoever stands in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven.'
