حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْمُطَوِّسِ عَنِ أَبِيهِ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا فِي رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَرَضٍ وَلَا رُخْصَةٍ لَمْ يَقْضِ عَنْهُ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ كُلِّهِ وَإِنْ صَامَهُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَبِيبٌ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ عَنِ أَبِي الْمُطَوِّسِ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا الْمُطَوِّسِ فَحَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُطَوِّسِ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ عَنِ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَهُ.

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Habib, who said: Ibn al-Mutawwis narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: 'Whoever breaks his fast for one day in Ramadan without illness or a [legitimate] concession, the fasting of an entire lifetime will not make up for it, even if he fasts it.' Sufyan said: Habib said: 'Umarah narrated to me from Abu al-Mutawwis — then I met Abu al-Mutawwis, and he narrated to me — Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, and Abu al-Mutawwis said: Yazid narrated to us, [and] Sufyan informed us, from Habib, from Ibn al-Mutawwis, from his father, and he mentioned it.
