وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَعْنِي اللَّهَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الصَّوْمُ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
With his chain of narration, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah narrate from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said - meaning God - God, Mighty and Majestic, says: "Fasting is Mine, and I reward it; and the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to God than the scent of musk."
