حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ مَا احْتَذَى النِّعَالَ وَلَا انْتَعَلَ وَلَا رَكِبَ الْمَطَايَا وَلَا لَبِسَ الْكُورَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَعْنِي فِي الْجُودِ وَالْكَرَمِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb narrated to us, he said: Khalid narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Abu Hurayrah who said: "No one has worn sandals, nor mounted riding animals, nor worn garments after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) better than Ja'far ibn Abi Talib" - meaning in generosity and nobility.
