حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَرَأَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ قُلْتُ لِمَ أَرَاكَ سَجَدْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ لَوْ لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا مَا سَجَدْتُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, from Abu Salamah who said: I saw Abu Hurayrah recite 'When the sky is split asunder' and he prostrated. I said: 'Why did I see you prostrate in it?' He said: 'Had I not seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prostrate in it, I would not have prostrated.'"
