حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّدَقَةُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Ma'qil - meaning Ibn 'Ubaydullah - narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Charity is from surplus wealth. Start with those under your care. The upper hand is better than the lower hand."
