حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى يُفْرَغَ مِنْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ قَالُوا وَمَا الْقِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ مِثْلُ الْجَبَلَيْنِ الْعَظِيمَيْنِ.

Abd al-A'la told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever prays over a funeral has one qirat, and whoever waits until it is finished has two qirats." They said: "What are the two qirats?" He said: "Like the two great mountains."
