الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us: Shu'bah told us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit: I heard Abu al-Abbas, who was a poet, say: I heard Abdullah ibn Amr say: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked his permission to go on jihad. He said: Are your parents alive? He said: Yes. He said: Then strive on their behalf.
