حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ أَبُو الْجَهْمِ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ صَلَاةٍ لَا يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ ثُمَّ خِدَاجٌ ثُمَّ خِدَاجٌ.

Abd al-Quddus ibn Bakr ibn Khunays Abu al-Jahm told us: al-Hajjaj informed us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every prayer in which the Qur'an is not recited is deficient" - three times.
