حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ أَنَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَيَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا وَيُصَلِّي حَافِيًا وَنَاعِلًا وَيَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُفْطِرُ.

Isma'il ibn Muhammad ibn Juhadah narrated to us: Hajjaj narrated from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather who said: I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) turning to his right and to his left after prayer, drinking while standing and while sitting, praying barefoot and wearing sandals, and fasting and breaking his fast while traveling.
