حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ وَهِيَ الَّتِي يَدْعُو النَّاسُ الْعَتَمَةَ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَيْلَتَكُمْ هَذِهِ فَإِنَّ رَأْسَ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ مِنْهَا لَا يَبْقَى مِمَّنْ هُوَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ أَحَدٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub told us: The nephew of Ibn Shihab told us, from his uncle: Salim ibn Abdullah informed me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in the night prayer, the one the people call al-'Atamah, then he finished and turned to face us and said: 'Do you see this night of yours? Indeed, at the head of a hundred years from it, none of those now living on the face of the earth will remain.'
