حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَتَخْرُجُ نَارٌ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ بَحْرِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ قَالُوا فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّامِ.

Abd al-Samad told us, my father told us, al-Husayn (that is, al-Mu'allim) told us, he said: Yahya said to me: Abu Qilaba told me: Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar told me: Abdullah ibn Umar told me: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to us: "A fire will come forth before the Day of Resurrection from the sea of Hadramawt, gathering the people." They said: "What do you command us, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Go to Syria."
