حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ وَثَّابٍ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَمَرَنَا بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: Hajjaj told us, Shu'bah informed us, from Abu Ishaq: I heard Yahya ibn Wathab say: I asked Ibn Umar about the ritual bath on Friday. He said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to do it."
