الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Jud'an, from al-Qasim ibn Rabi'a, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, on the day of the conquest of Makkah, while standing on the steps of the Ka'bah: "Praise be to Allah, who has fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. Indeed, killing that resembles intentional killing, [caused] by a whip or a stick, requires a hundred camels [as blood-money]." And he said another time: "The severest kind [of blood-money] consists of forty pregnant she-camels with their young in their bellies. Every claim of honor, bloodshed, or [tribal] claim that existed in the pre-Islamic era" - and he said another time: "every claim of blood or property - is beneath these two feet of mine, except for the providing of water to the pilgrims and the custodianship of the House, for I confirm these two for their people as they were."
