الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah told us — and I myself also heard it from Ibn Abi Shaybah — Hafs ibn Ghiyath told us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being something strange just as it began, so blessed are the strangers." It was said, "And who are the strangers?" He said, "Those who withdraw from the tribes [for the sake of righteousness]."
