حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا قَالَ وَكُنَّا نَرَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُمَّ فِي ذِرَاعِ شَاةٍ سَمَّتْهُ الْيَهُودُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aswad told us, Isra'il told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Sa'd ibn 'Iyad, from Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: "Indeed, some eloquence is magic." He said: And we used to think that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was poisoned through the foreleg of a sheep which the Jews had poisoned for him.
