حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ حَتَّى هَمَمْتُ بِأَمْرِ سُوءٍ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَمَا هُوَ قَالَ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَقْعُدَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Husayn ibn Ali told us, from Za'idah, from Sulayman, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he prolonged the standing until I thought of doing something wrong. We said: What was it? He said: I thought of sitting down.
