حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لِابْنِ النَّوَّاحَةِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنَّكَ رَسُولٌ لَقَتَلْتُكَ فَأَمَّا الْيَوْمَ فَلَسْتَ بِرَسُولٍ يَا خَرَشَةُ قُمْ فَاضْرِبْ عُنُقَهُ قَالَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ فَضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mu’awiyah told us: al-A’mash told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Harithah ibn Mudarrib, who said: Abdullah said to Ibn al-Nawwahah, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, ‘Were it not that you are regarded as an envoy, I would have killed you; but today you are no protected envoy.’ O Kharashah, get up and strike off his neck." He said: So he got up to him and struck off his neck.
