Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hafs al-Sarraj narrated to us. He said: I heard Shahr ibn Hawshab narrating from Asma' bint Yazid, that she used to be present with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) among the women. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) noticed a woman wearing two bracelets of gold and said to her: "Would it please you that Allah put on you two bracelets of fire?" She said: So she took them off. Asma' said: "By Allah, I do not know whether she removed them or I removed them."
