حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَغْزُو الرِّجَالُ وَلَا نَغْزُو وَلَنَا نِصْفُ الْمِيرَاثِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ { وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ }.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan told us: Ibn Abi Najih told us, from Mujahid, who said: Umm Salamah said, "O Messenger of Allah, the men fight in battle and we do not fight, yet we have only half the inheritance." So Allah revealed: "And do not wish for that by which Allah has favored some of you over others."
