حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهَا تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا حَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَحَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ.

Narrated to us by Ya'qub, who said: My father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Abdullah ibn Rafi', the mawla of Umm Salamah, narrated to me, from Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) - he said: I heard her say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "If the prayer is called and supper is served, begin with supper."
