حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لَا يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لَا يَصُومُ لَمْ أَرَهُ فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا بَلْ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salamah said: I asked Aisha, "How did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fast?" She said, "He used to fast until we would say he would never break his fast, and he would break his fast until we would say he would never fast. I never saw him fast more in any month than in Sha'ban - he used to fast all of Sha'ban except a little, indeed he used to fast all of Sha'ban."
