حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ وَاعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ فِي سَاعَةٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فِيهَا فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ فِيهَا فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدَهُ بِالْبَابِ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي انْتَظَرْتُكَ لِمِيعَادِكَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَلْبًا وَلَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ وَكَانَ تَحْتَ سَرِيرِ عَائِشَةَ جِرْوُ كَلْبٍ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُخْرِجَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالْكِلَابِ حِينَ أَصْبَحَ فَقُتِلَتْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aisha said: Gabriel made an appointment with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at a certain hour to come to him, but he was delayed in coming. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out and found him standing at the door. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I was waiting for you at your appointed time." He said, "There is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image." There was a puppy under Aisha's bed, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered it removed, and it was taken out. Then, when morning came, he ordered that dogs be killed, so it was killed.
