قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ سَوْدَةُ امْرَأَةً ثَبِطَةً ثَقِيلَةً فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُفِيضَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقِفَ وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ وَأَذِنَ لِي وَكَانَ الْقَاسِمُ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُفِيضَ حَتَّى يَقِفَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
[It was narrated to us]: Affan narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim informed us, from al-Qasim, from A'ishah, who said: "Sawdah was a slow-moving, heavy woman, so she asked the Prophet's, peace and blessings be upon him, permission to move on from Jam' [Muzdalifah] before the standing [wuquf], and permission was granted her. I wish I had asked his permission [too], and he would have granted it to me." Al-Qasim disliked moving on before the standing.
