حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَتْ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

Bahz told us, saying Hammam told us, from Qatadah, from Mu'adhah, who said: I asked Aisha: How much did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, pray for the mid-morning prayer? She said: Four rak'ahs, and he would add as much as Allah, Mighty and Majestic, willed.
