Abd al-A'la told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah, that a woman entered upon her with her two daughters, and I gave her a date, which she split between them. I mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said, "Whoever is tried with any of these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
