حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْرُوفٌ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرَ بْنَ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ شَابٌّ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يَسْتَلِمُ الْحَجَرَ بِمِحْجَنِهِ.

Waki' narrated to us, Ma'ruf al-Makki narrated to us who said: I heard Abu al-Tufayl 'Amir ibn Wathila say: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while I was a young boy, circumambulating the House upon his mount, touching the [Black] Stone with his riding-crop.
