حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ وَحُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ لِلتَّهَجُّدِ يَشُوصُ فَاهُ بِالسِّوَاكِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Waki', who said: It was narrated to us by Sufyan and Abdur-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Mansur and Husayn, from Abu Wa'il — Abdur-Rahman said: and al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il — from Hudhayfah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, rose at night — Waki' said: for the night vigil (tahajjud) — he would rub his mouth vigorously with the tooth-stick (siwak).
