حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ فَرَافِصَةَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانٍِ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أُصَلِّي إِذْ سَمِعْتُ مُتَكَلِّمًا يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كُلُّهُ وَلَكَ الْمُلْكُ كُلُّهُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ إِلَيْكَ يُرْجَعُ الْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ عَلَانِيَتُهُ وَسِرُّهُ فَأَهْلٌ أَنْ تُحْمَدَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جَمِيعَ مَا مَضَى مِنْ ذَنْبِي وَاعْصِمْنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِي وَارْزُقْنِي عَمَلًا زَاكِيًا تَرْضَى بِهِ عَنِّي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاكَ مَلَكٌ أَتَاكَ يُعَلِّمُكَ تَحْمِيدَ رَبِّكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated to us by Affan, who said: It was narrated to us by Hammam, who said: It was narrated to us by al-Hajjaj ibn Farafisah, who said: A man narrated to me from Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman: that he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "While I was praying, I heard a speaker say: 'O Allah, to You belongs all praise, to You belongs all sovereignty, in Your hand is all good, to You all matters return, their manifest and their hidden; so You are worthy to be praised, indeed You are over all things capable. O Allah, forgive me all of my past sin, and protect me in what remains of my life, and grant me pure deeds with which You will be pleased with me.'" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "That was an angel who came to you to teach you the praise of your Lord."
