Yazid told us: Sufyan informed us, from Asim al-Ahwal, from Abu Tamima al-Hujaymi, from the one who rode behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him (or from one who was told by the one who rode behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him), that he was riding behind him when his mount stumbled, and he said, "May Satan perish." The Prophet said: Do not say that, for when you say it he grows greater until he becomes like a mountain and says, "By my strength I threw him down." But when you say, "In the name of Allah," he shrinks until he becomes like a fly.
