حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَحْرٍ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يَقُولُ عَادَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الشُّهَدَاءُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا فَسَكَتُوا فَقَالَ عُبَادَةُ أَخْبِرْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ الْقَتِيلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالنُّفَسَاءُ شَهِيدٌ يَجُرُّهَا وَلَدُهَا بِسُرَرِهِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah narrated to us: Abu Bahr Abd al-Wahid ibn Ghiyath narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Sinan, from Ya'la ibn Shaddad, who said: I heard Ubadah ibn al-Samit say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, visited me along with a group of his Companions, and said: Do you know who the martyrs of my nation are? - twice or three times - and they were silent. Ubadah said: Inform us, O Messenger of Allah. He said: The one killed in the way of Allah is a martyr; the one who dies of an abdominal ailment is a martyr; the one who dies of the plague is a martyr; and the woman who dies in childbirth is a martyr - her child pulls her by its umbilical cord into Paradise.
