حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام قَطُّ إِلَّا أَمَرَنِي بِالسِّوَاكِ لَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ أُحْفِيَ مُقَدَّمَ فِيَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Harun ibn Ma'ruf told us, Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, from Yahya ibn Ayyub, from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Ali ibn Yazid, from al-Qasim, from Abu Umamah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Gabriel, peace be upon him, never came to me without commanding me to use the tooth-stick, until I feared that I would wear away the front of my mouth."
