Abdullah told us, my father told me, Husayn ibn Muhammad told us, Sharik told us, from Abu Hasin, from al-Walibi, a friend of Mu'adh ibn Jabal, from Mu'adh, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever is given authority over any matter of the people and then shuts himself off from those who are weak and in need, Allah will shut Himself off from him on the Day of Resurrection."
