حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ طَمَعٍ يَهْدِي إِلَى طَبْعٍ وَمِنْ طَمَعٍ يَهْدِي إِلَى غَيْرِ مَطْمَعٍ وَمِنْ طَمَعٍ حَيْثُ لَا طَمَعَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Bishr told us, Abdullah ibn Amir al-Aslami told us, from al-Walid ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to us: Seek refuge in Allah from a craving that leads to base nature, and from a craving that leads to no benefit, and from craving where there is no craving to be had.
